One of the biggest challenges and joys a photographer has is to take photos of a fellow photographer! My friend Amy Lewis has a child portrait business called "Sitting Pretty Portraits" and recently just had her 2nd child...baby girl Ella. I offered to do a session with her so she got some photos of herself with her girls (such a rarity for us photographers) - and I am so happy with how they came out! Amy is such a beautiful woman...and her girls are equally adorable. Here are a few favorites from our session.

The photo Amy wanted most...sweet sisters. With a VERY active 2year old, this one was a tough one to get--but you'd never know it from this photo...so loving.
I love shooting outdoors--so though we did most of our shoot in the studio, per Amy's request--I had to snap this one of little Ella outside in my garden...Mother Nature's gift.
Welcome Natanya! You may recall some sweet early maternity photos I posted back in October of mommy Jodie...well here is who was kicking her! I am so happy that Daneil and Jodie brought their new little girl to my studio this past weekend--she's already SO big and definately beautiful. I'll be snapping this little angel again in a few months so stay tuned!
At the beginning of the week I had the wonderful job of photographing a brand new bundle of joy...just 10 days old! Proud new mom Adrienne and dad, Ryan, of Marblehead MA wanted to make sure to capture little Deliliah before she lost that "brand new baby" look...and specifically requested Black & White fine art style photos. It was a wonderful challenge as I LOVE working in Black & White...and Deliliah was the perfect model for me! Scroll down to see a few of my favorites from our session. As a final parting shot, we got all their other "children" into the mix for a family portrait....Lenny the dog was so sweet and protective of little Deliliah--only wish I'd had more time to do a whole session with the dog/cats and baby!
