As a Groton native...I love it when I get to work a wedding right in my own backyard, so I was thrilled to photograph Anne & Chris's nuptials at Gibbet Hill on Sept 18th! As an added bonus, these two actually welcomed their 1st baby daughter just 2 months ago.
Another fun element of this event was that I finally got to work with my friend Krista Guenin, www.kristaphoto.com who acted as a 2nd shooter for me. I've included some of her shots in this blog post as well...as I love her fun perspectives!
Enjoy these Highlights!

I spent time with Anne and the girls while they got ready, and Krista peeked in on Chris and his guys...I LOVE that she snapped this one of him shaving.
Gibbet Hill is a real working Black Angus farm...so the bride and groom were thrilled that the cows came out for their ceremony.
It was tough to find natural light where the bride was getting ready--but as we walked out the back door was able to capture her beautiful profile.
While I focused on bridal portraits, Krista snapped some candids as the guests were arriving. Peek-a-boo!

The father of the bride spies my portrait session with Anne and can't resist...his 3rd (and final) daughter to leave the nest!
Krista captured Chris's expression as he sees his bride
Wedding vows shot with a barn view...
...and Krista caught this view from the other side.
Whoo hoo..they did it!
I love this candid photo Krista nabbed of the parents of the bride. So happy!
3...is the magic number.
Little Charlotte is waiting for Mom & Dad after the ceremony. So sweet!
Anne's a new mom and has been working hard--the guys give her a hand
And Chris gets showered in affection from the ladies!
Another of my favorite candids taken by Krista at the reception
A rare photo of me "on the job" - thanks Krista!
The rain held off to allow for a lawn ceremony with picturesque views.

I didn't get to do an E-Session with these guys--love that they used a caricature in the signature mat!

Anne & Chris met and are actively involved at the Special Olympics--these bracelets were given to each guest (though the flower girls managed to collect a few more!)
It was great working with you Jessica! The photos turned out great! :)
