It's always so great to photograph friends....I've know the Michalowski family for years and Craigie is my son Jared's friend from BIRTH (our kids even knew each other in the womb....and they were born just 2 weeks apart!) Sassy Sophie is my neice's best friend too--but getting her to smile WITHOUT Lydia around was a fun challenge. After a fun, rowdy session with the kids at their home in Marblehead (yes, a trampoline was involved yet AGAIN) - we headed to the Eastern Yacht club for a few family shots after sunset. Here are some of my favorites! Love you guys!

Siobhan & Will--The clouds part for a July 5th Wedding

Despite July being one of of the rainiest months on record for Massachussets--the sun came out for Siobhan & Will's wedding, and it was a beautiful event! The Bittersweet Farm was such a picturesque venue...and I had so much fun with this crew as well. I've done baby portraits for the Spidle family in the past (Will's nephews), so it was wonderful to see all my child "models" dressed up to be part of the wedding! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

From Country Garden to Trampoline...

Last week I traveled out to Whitman, MA to meet up with a past client who had brought her baby girl into be photographed ...now Jennifer is almost 1 year old, and this time around I got to meet her (camera shy) big brother Joseph. Mom, Melinda has a love for old vintage things...so her country garden was a great setting. Though little Jennifer wasn't shy at all--Joseph was a tough nut to crack--at the end of the session, I convinced him to jump with me and his buddy John on their trampoline..and at last I captured a great SMILE! Sometimes thowing out the rulebook is the best way to go...I'm just glad I have insurance on my camera. :-)
